This has been an amazing week for these two future missionaries. It started out with us flying to Elkhart, IN, where the Sr Management gave a first class send-off for Jim and his 27 years of service to the Steinway Corp/Conn-Selmer Division. Yes, it really happened...after 35 years in the music business, Jim retired! The restaurant was the beautiful Villa Maria and a great feast was had. Many glowing words were spoken and gifts bestowed. It was a classy, emotional and proud moment and I'm sure glad I had my lady there to help me share in the festivities. She was the anchor that enabled me the success that I enjoyed.

I wouldn't expect anything less for you, Jim. You and Reenie are two of the most classiest people I know and you have raised classy children too (and Im not evening including myself because I could use some work!) Good Luck and Congrats.
P.S. You are going to go crazy with nothing to do after your mission. But remember I do have a 'to-do' list with your name all over it!
I am glad you guys had such a wonderful time there and they honored you well. I bet it was emotional, you have been doing this for years. You were so good at it too but yet you are good at pretty much anything you put your mind too. And you are right you have a good lady, you guys have always complimented each other and I feel so blessed you have you as my parents.
Congratulations Mom and Dad!! I am so proud of you and happy for you. I am happy to hear you left in style and that you were able to attend the nice send off. You've had a great woman there by your side and I don't think you would have been able to accomplish it all without her. I hope I can be that to Kent. Your work ethic and integrity in business has always been an example to me in life and in my short little career. I love you both and am honored to have such special parents. Thanks for everything... I love you.
What a wonderful end to a fantastic career. Just a bit of advice, though: don't show this picture to your mission president. He might not like seeing all that WINE in the background. HELLO! :o)
They don't even know how lucky they were!! I wish I could see next year's numbers. :) I bet your phone will ring off the hook when you get home. They'll want you back!
I totally love your blog page. thanks for your message. Its sounds like a beautiful night. You have one hot momma! Good luck in Africa!
